Refund & Cancellation Policy
Welcome to Globelink International Trading and Services. By using our services, you agree to be bound by the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before placing an order, booking a shipment, or using our website.
1. Definitions
“Company” refers to Globelink International Trading and Services.
“Customer” refers to the individual or entity using our services.
“Shipment” refers to the goods and cargo entrusted to the Company for transportation.
“Consignee” refers to the recipient of the shipment as identified by the Customer.
2. Scope of Services
We provide cargo and logistics solutions, including but not limited to:
Air cargo
Sea cargo
Door-to-door delivery
Warehouse collection services
The exact nature, pricing, and delivery timelines of these services are detailed in our service descriptions and confirmed at the time of booking.
3. Customer Responsibilities
The Customer is responsible for:
Providing accurate and complete shipment details (name, address, contact information, identification numbers).
Ensuring that the contents of the shipment comply with customs laws and regulations in both the origin and destination countries.
Packaging goods in a manner suitable for safe transport.
Disclosing all items in the shipment truthfully for customs clearance.
4. Prohibited Items
The following items are strictly prohibited:
Flammable or hazardous materials
Tobacco, alcohol, or controlled substances
Loose batteries or battery-included devices (unless approved)
Body sprays, perfumes, and similar restricted items
Any items prohibited by customs authorities in the destination country
The Company reserves the right to reject or dispose of prohibited items without notice.
5. Pricing & Payment
Service charges will be provided to the Customer prior to booking.
All fees must be paid in accordance with the agreed terms before shipment dispatch.
Additional charges may apply for oversized goods, special packing, or customs duties.
6. Delivery Timelines
Air cargo delivery: approximately 7–10 days from loading date.
Sea cargo delivery: approximately 30–40 days from loading date.
Door-to-door delivery: approximately 10–12 days from dispatch.
These timelines are estimates and may vary due to customs inspections, weather conditions, or operational delays beyond our control.
7. Customs Clearance & Duties
The Customer is responsible for any applicable customs duties, taxes, or charges unless otherwise stated.
For UPB (Unaccompanied Personal Baggage) shipments, certain customs allowances may apply.
The Company will assist with customs clearance but is not responsible for clearance delays caused by government authorities.
8. Limitation of Liability
The Company will take reasonable care in handling shipments but is not liable for losses or damages caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:
Acts of God
Customs holds or seizures
Airline, shipping line, or transport delays
For damages caused during handling, liability is limited to the declared value of the shipment, subject to proof and Company policy.
9. Claims & Complaints
All claims must be submitted in writing within 7 days of delivery.
The Company will investigate and respond to all valid claims.
Public complaints on social media before allowing the Company to address the issue may void refund eligibility.
10. Changes to Terms
The Company reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting on our website.
11. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Qatar. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Qatar.
